"Cake" Juxtaposition (Entire Structure)

about

This is the whole structured improvisation based on a painting created by Jennifer Caviola a.k.a CAKE.
I recorded this live improvisation at gallery Anno Domini in downtown San Jose, where my heart beats.
The process for this improvisation took four months, and was directly inspired by violinist Kristina Dutton's "Call and Response" series in SF.
I am still learning how to do this. It is meant to be genuine response to a piece of art, and the environment around me.
I won't apologize for my process. My fear of putting this out in the world wants me to apologize.
This is hard.
